what about ... A ti ymneya porovoza? Our father's favorite invention that I am desperately trying to stop using because it drives my husband nuts and my kid says "tu tu" every time I say it :)

I would need to think about this one. I don't think 'wise guy' or 'smart Alec' fits here, but those were the once that came to mind first.

BTW, it is not something dad came up with. It is well known Russian phrase, just like the one I posted above.

really...I've never heard anyone else use it. Live and learn I guess. It is kind of funny how zach says choo choo every time I use it :)
