So if you followed my saga regarding my issues during my business trip 2 months ago, you would not be surprised to find out that the saga is not over.

Last week, out of nowhere, I got two charges on my credit card for $430 and $138 from the Limousine company.  I knew what $430 charge was for, but had no idea why they also charged me $138.  Today it became very clear.

Dear Ms. X,

Last week my credit card was charged $430 for the trip from Heathrow airport to the Oxford Malmaison Hotel on December 5th.  However, I have neither paper nor electronic receipt for this charge as the driver told me that it will be charged to the company's account.  Please provide me with the receipt so that I can submit this charge for reimbursement. 

I have also received a $138 charge from the same Limo company on my credit card.  As I have only used this Limo company 3 times during my trip to UK and have receipts for the other two times, I am not sure what the $138 charge is for.  Please look into it and either have this charge removed from my credit card or provide me with the legitimate receipt for this charge so that it can also be submitted for reimbursement.

When the limos for this trip were originally booked at 5p on  Friday 04 Dec for a 5Dec pick up in London  you requested round trip limo service.  At that time Other Limo company was not available   We booked Company's preferred Limo company so you would have a limo service confirmed.  The itinerary we sent to you on 4Dec showed the booking was round trip. Per Limo Company the return limo was a no show and a no show fee was charged.  Limo Company did discount the no show sedan $300.00 and only charged $138.00.  You should have been charged $438.80.  If you did not wish to take the return limo it could have been cancelled 2 hours before the scheduled pick up.  Since the reservation was not cancelled the no show fee was charged.  Limo Company did work with us to discount that trip. Due to the circumstances mentioned above Limo Company has already reduced the charges and unfortunately we have done all we can so the charges will need to be remitted.

Hi X,

I am sorry for the confusion, but I have only requested round trip service for the limo service in US, meaning a pick up from my house on the 5th of December and then the pick up from JFK on the 11th of December.  As for the service in UK, I have only requested the pick up from the Heathrow airport on the December 5th as I  could not have known what time I will be heading out for airport on Friday, the 11th.  At any rate, if I was requesting the return service in UK, I would’ve specified to be picked up from our UK office as I would’ve checked out of the hotel that morning and spend the day (or at least the first portion of the day on Friday) working out our location in Oxford.   

Considering that the itinerary sent to me on Dec 4th also showed reservation at the Malmaison hotel, which was canceled and should not have been on that itinerary, I assumed that the itinerary was incorrect with respect to car service as well.

Please have the charged removed form my credit card promptly.

Hi Star_Invention,

My Manager has received your request for the charges to be reversed. She will credit the $138.00 back to your Master Card.  Please do not dispute the charges this will make it more difficult to credit.
